Croatian currency: KUNA     1 kuna (kn) = 100 lipa (lp)

Paper bills : 1000, 500, 200, 100, 50, 20, 10 and 5 kn.
Coins: 5, 2 and 1 Kuna, 50, 20, 10, 5, 2 and 1 lipa.

Foreign currency can be exchanged in hotel (Hotel Odisej, Pomena), post offices( Babino Polje, Maranovici, Pristaniste).
Exchange rates are published in newspapers, and are also pointed out in all exchange offices.

Hotels accept all major credit cards (Eurocard/Mastercard, American Express, Diners, Visa), as do most of the restaurants and shops.

Cash machines on Mljet are by following banks:Privredna banka( Hotel Odisej,Pomena and Super market Studenac - Žukovac) , OTP banka (Tourist office, Polace) and Euro Bancomat ( Ferry port Sobra and Hotel Odisej - Pomena).

All ATMs accept Eurocard/Mastercard, Diners, American Express and Visa for accessing cash.
