EVENTS / Hidden corners of Mljet

Hidden corners of Mljet is an ethno-gastro event that takes place in old villages in the interior of the island of Mljet, where autochthonous domestic products and delicacies are prepared and presented.

This project was started in 2014 on the feast of the Assumption in Korita and immediately aroused the interest of many visitors, and in addition to Korita, it is also held in Maranovići on the occasion of the feast of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The main goal of the event is to enrich the tourist offer and the experience of the guests and to protect and valorize our heritage, and at the same time valorize the culture of preparing traditional dishes, products and lifestyle of the local population.

Along with a visual representation of history, visitors learn about numerous customs, and a particularly interesting part is certainly the tasting of Mljet specialties. Numerous exhibitors, associations and farms complete the entire experience with their works and products.
