Petar Čulić was born on June 26, 1986 in Split. He received his master's degree in July 2008 at the Art Academy of the University of Split in the class of prof. Goran Listeš. He continues his education at the postgraduate study in Koblenz (in Germany) at the private academy "Koblenz International Guitar Academy" in the class of prof. Hubert Käppel, and finished it in May 2010 with the best result. He is an artistic associate at the Academy of Arts and Culture in Osijek.

So far, he has performed on 6 continents in more than 30 countries. He played as a soloist with the Rheinische Philharmonie, the Symphony Orchestra of the National Theater Claudio Santoro in Brasilia, the Mozart Orchestra, the Chamber Orchestra of the City of Curitiba, the Symphony Orchestra of Montenegro, the Chamber String Orchestra of the Croatian Musical Youth, the HNK Split Orchestra and others.

He represented the European Union and Croatia at the Europe Week in Brazil in 2018, and he also appeared at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg (France) in 2019. At national competitions, he won five first prizes as a soloist and three first prizes as a member of chamber ensembles. He won about twenty prizes at international competitions without age limits, among which we single out the first places at the "Gitarenfestival Gevelsberg" (Gevelsberg, Germany, 2013) and the "Winter Guitar Festival" (Volos, Greece, 2007). He is the only Croatian representative who won in 10 years of Omiš Guitar Fest (2013).
