Babine Kuce is a place of special atmosphere on the shore of the Great Lakes. Established in the mid-20th century. The first family that settled there was of Nikola Vojvoda .
Due to the unique view of the island of St.. Mary and the Grand Lake, hospitality , extraordinary culinary skills, numerous foreign and local guests always come back to spend their holidays at the source of the beauty of the island.
Babine kuce is located opposite the hamlet of Njivice. Before the Second World War (from 1934. In)there was a hotel "Jezero".
In the nearby “Pristanište”(Pier) is post office, shops and the National Park Management.
