Dublin, 1980s. Eleven-year-old Bobby is a lively boy obsessed with becoming a great detective like his TV hero Kojak. One day, together with his best friend Nell, he decides to open his own detective agency—all they need is their first case. When Bobby’s troubled brother suddenly goes missing, the duo sets off on a search using all their detective skills, and what begins as an innocent childhood adventure turns into a darker world of crime and drugs.
The feature debut of director Brian Durnin is an exciting and touching story about childhood dreams in difficult times, brilliantly brought to life by the talented child acting duo Cillian Sullivan and Naoise Kelly. The film premiered at the Tallinn Film Festival.
